Todd Margasak

Besides being a fine cornet player, Todd Margasak is been an important force in organizing and promoting unconventional music in Philadelphia.

Mr. Margasak has played in numerous groups in Chicago and Philadelphia including bands with Ken Vandermark and Jimmy Stewart. The content has ranged from tunes to free improv. He has performed at the Knitting Factory, and the Mellon Jazz Festival (Philadelphia), Trenton Avant-Garde Festival, and The Fringe Festival (Philadelphia). He currently performs with Sonic Object Trio (free improvisation).
